Stew Leonard III Water Safety Foundation is thrilled to host its 29th Annual Golf Outing on Monday, May 18, 2026, at Brae Burn Country Clubs in Purchase, New York.   This signature event raises awareness and support for our water safety programs to help prevent accidental drownings.  Help us achieve our goal this year of providing 20,000 free or low-cost swimming lessons for thousands of children in need, as well as hundreds of lifeguard trainings.

Drowning is leading cause of death for children four and under and a second leading cause of accidental death for children ages 5 – 15. However, children who learn to swim are 88% less likely to drown than those who do not. Each year, Stew Leonard III Water Safety Foundation funds more than 10,000 free and low-cost swimming lessons and hundreds of lifeguard trainings, while also increasing public awareness about effective water safety strategies. As a 501(c)(3) non-profit, we aim to serve all with a focus on the most vulnerable and at-risk. Our work is only made possible by the generous support of our donors.  We need your help to ensure all children can learn lifesaving swimming skills.
