Event Information
Registration: Please go directly to your assigned course to check-in for the event and for lunch/golf. We will provide course assignments closer to the golf outing. The cocktail hour and dinner reception will both be held at Brae Burn Country Club.
Arrival/Bag Drop: When you arrive at the course, please use the bag drop on your right-hand side upon driving your car onto the property. Staff will be happy to assist with your clubs, which will be given to the caddy assigned to you for the day. You will be directed to the parking lot and given directions toward the appropriate locker room.
Locker Room Facilities: Each club will have a locker room that you may use. Country Club staff will direct you there, to practice facilities, lunch and your caddy who will assist with any other questions you may have.
Golf Tournament Rules of Play: This golf outing will be a Scramble format. Each team player hits from the tee box, then the team members choose the best of the four shots for the next shot. All team members then play the second shot from that location and again choose the best shot. Play continues in this manner until the hole is completed. Should any changes to the format of the event be made, registrants will be notified in advance.
Golf Contests:
- Closest to the Pin
- Longest Drive
- 1st Place – Brae Burn Country Club
- 2nd Place – Brae Burn Country
- 1st Place – Century Country Club
- 2nd Place – Century Country Club
Caddies: The cost and tips for the caddies has been covered by the Stew Leonard III Water Safety Foundation.
Golf Carts: Two golf carts per foursome will be provided.
Club Attire: Guests must dress in a manner appropriate to the game and the surroundings, including the practice areas. Men’s shorts should be no shorter than just above the knee. Shirts must be tucked in and must have collars. Mock turtleneck golf shirts are acceptable. Shirts designed to be worn out are permitted to be worn that way. Cargo shirts, shorts or pants with outer pockets, low riders and baggy shorts are not permitted. Women’s shirts should have sleeves or a collar. Jeans, bathing attire, T-shirts, short shorts, gym shorts or tennis clothes are not permissible for men or women on the golf course or practice areas.
Virtual Auction/Prize Drawings: We will be holding a virtual auction that will go live a week before the golf outing and close during the cocktail hour of the event. We will have incredible prizes you can bid on, including dinner for four at Rao’s and fabulous bottles of wines and experiences. During the event, we’ll also be selling tickets for prize drawings for an assortment of amazing items and packages. Please contact Sarah Caro at scaro@stewietheduck.org if you have prizes you would like to donate to either the auction or prize drawings.
Weather: Please note, the event is rain or shine and there are no refunds. Should the event be rained out, every possible effort will be made to re-schedule or offer alternative dates to play.
